Overview

It is amazing the amount of new stuff that comes on the market in a year. Over the years, we have seen an evolution of rotary instruments, irrigating solutions and techniques, retreatment techniques, anesthesia, perforation repair materials, obturation materials, and so on, and, when all is said and done … the basic concepts and instruments are more than enough to treat most endodontic cases.

Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, the participant will better able to:

  • Review instrumentation
  • Understand basic irrigation
  • Find canals
  • Nice things about CBCT
  • Understand importance of records and impact on litigation
  • Review technique for vital pulp caps.
  • Discuss benefits of Endo v Implants v Retreatment
  • Discuss anesthesia.
  • Execute emergency treatment.
